WHO WE ARE

Building on the success of BERJAYA University College (BERJAYA UC) and as an answer to the Government of Malaysia’s initiative to encourage TVET, BERJAYA TVET College (BTVET) started the first intake in 2017 offering practical oriented effective learning for students to produce graduates that are street-smart, technically-inclined and industry-ready. We ensure our students are exposed to real-life, hands-on experience in their studies.

As of today, the College has five academic Centres – Centre for Hotel, Restaurant and Food Studies (CHRFS), Centre for City & Guilds (CCG), Centre for Technology and Innovation (CTI), Centre for Management and Administration (CMA) and Centre for Professional Excellence (CPE)

Our programmes prepare students based on National Occupational Skills Standards (NOSS) which is approved by the Ministry of Human Resources and its quality of teaching and learning is assured by Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK) or Department of Skills Development (DSD).

Our Food Preparation and Production, Food and Beverage Services and Guest Services Operations have obtained 5 stars rating from JPK for 2017. BERJAYA TVET College is also an Approved Training Provider under the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), Malaysia. In addition, BERJAYA TVET College has also approval to run City & Guilds (C&G) and American Hospitality Academy (AHA) courses.

Our Campus

BERJAYA TVET College cosmopolitan city campus is situated with in the golden triangle of Berjaya Times Square. Students benefit from the integrated learning experience gained from the hospitality, tourism, information technology and service-related businesses within and surrounding the city campus.

Being in the heart of the capital city also means being immersed in a vibrant and dynamic commercial and business environment, ideal as a live learning lab for anyone readying themselves to enter the workforce. The city campus, is located on the 10th Floor(East), 11th floor & 14th floor and comprises of state of art facilities such as high-tech lecture theatres, classrooms, a Learning and Resource Centre, eclectic accommodation suite, dedicated computer laboratories with the latest software, fully equipped preparation, production and pastry kitchens, bakery, culinary studio, culinary theatre, show kitchen, fine dining restaurant, café, deli, coffee and tea academy, oenology laboratory and a chocolate and sugar artistry laboratory, among others.
Well-Rounded Quality Programmes

Our programmes are benchmarked against the best local and international standards. We are an Accredited Centre of the Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK) or Department of Skills Development (DSD), Ministry of Human Resources, Malaysia as well as an Approved Training Provider under the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF). On the international front, we have been given approval to run City & Guilds (C&G) from UK and American Hospitality Academy (AHA) from USA courses and is the only institution in Malaysia who delivers courses from Qualifications and Assessments International (QAI), UK.
